How is it suddenly Sunday night again? Time is truly warped for me; I typically don’t remember what happened further back than two or three days ago. I can tell you all about the things I did this weekend but I am drawing a complete blank for Monday to Friday.
Something I’ve become more comfortable saying lately is “I can’t think.” I just really… I can’t think. There’s only white noise. My head is both full and empty. It’s a miracle I’ve been able to send out this newsletter every Monday morning, still.
I feel no shame in admitting that I’m struggling, that the load I’m carrying is heavy. We all have our different uses for social media, and I don’t want to use mine as a place to rant or unload. But I do want to be my real self on here; not a picture-perfect person, just a human with good moods and bad moods and in-between moods too. So, I am currently not doing well! But I rest by leaning on the shoulders of the friends I talk to every day. (If you feel so inclined, drop me a cute baby video. Or tell me you watched a BTS video or listened to their music. That will make my day.)
I saw this today and it made me laugh because it is me and Aia, my same person, in one image. It’s funny because we describe our every day as gapang and this lady is LITERALLY crawling.
Today is Aia’s birthday so please send her your love!

Donating blood today, my first time ever. It was overall a pleasant experience. Would do again. Would encourage you to do it if an opportunity came up. I was surprised by how much blood they got from me in such a short time!
Eating Ganso-Shabuway as our celebratory “Hooray, we donated blood!” meal. Also, we caved and ordered gyudon from Kodawari because my craving was too intense.
Reading People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry. I loved Beach Read more, but also, I couldn’t put this down.
Visiting my niece Clara after three long months of separation. She’s too cute. Thanks to my friends who send messages like “She looks healthy” <3
Listening to TXT’s new album. It’s great. I love the title track 0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) -- and the music video is great. Not yet a MOA (the official name for their fans) but I really do like their music.
Making merch plans with Yeye for our shop. Excited for what’s ahead!
Longreads
I am sorry; I have been really poor with the longreads lately, because once again: I cannot think.
Feel free to share this newsletter, it’s open to the public. I always get excited any time people engage with me about things that I post, so please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts. Unless it’s mean or mansplainy: in that case, no thank you. <3 If this is your first time reading this, you can subscribe via the button below and then the next issues will land in your inbox.
Yours from afar,
Pinky
